How to Share iCloud Availability with Outlook Users

If you use an iPhone or Mac, you probably love Apple Calendar (iCloud). But if your colleagues use Outlook or Google Calendar, you know the pain: "Sorry, I can't see your calendar."

Until now, the only solution was to make your iCloud calendar "Public" and share a long, ugly URL. This exposes all your event details to anyone with the link.

How to set it up (30 seconds)

Open the Calendar app on your iPhone or Mac.
Tap the "i" button next to the calendar you want to share.
Toggle "Public Calendar" ON.
Copy the link (it starts with webcal://).
Paste it into StitchLink under Settings > Calendars.

Don't worry:

StitchLink only reads your free/busy status. We never display your event titles to others unless you explicitly allow it.

How iCloud Differs from Google & Outlook

With Google Calendar and Outlook, StitchLink connects via OAuth and can automatically check everyone's real-time free/busy status — no action needed from participants. iCloud works differently because Apple doesn't offer the same API access. Instead, iCloud connects through a read-only calendar subscription link, which means StitchLink can see when you're busy, but can't query availability on-demand the way it does with Google and Outlook.
